We don't sell your data, use advertising or social-media trackers, or send marketing emails.
Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe on its own secure checkout page. We never see or store your card number. Stripe acts as an independent controller for fraud prevention; see Stripe's privacy policy.
Recommendations
If you turn on personalisation, we suggest products based on the categories you browse and buy. This is simple automated sorting with no legal or similarly significant effect on you. “Customers also viewed” lists are built from combined, anonymous counts across everyone who consented.
Who we share data with
We use these processors under written contracts. Some are outside the UK/EEA; transfers are covered by the UK IDTA / EU Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
- Stripe: payments (UK/EU/US)
- Neon: database hosting (region set in our Neon project)
- Vercel: website hosting (global edge network)
- Cloudinary: product images (no customer data)
- Google: only if you choose “Sign in with Google”
- Resend: sending account and order emails
- Our delivery courier: your delivery name, address and phone
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Most of this is self-service:
- Download everything we hold from Privacy & data
- Delete your browsing activity or your whole account from the same page
- Change cookie choices using “Cookie settings” in the footer
Or email privacy@bettertastefoods.com; we reply within one month. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office or your local EU supervisory authority.
Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, admin access is restricted and checked on every request, and we keep only what we need.
Children
Our shop isn't aimed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and ask for your cookie choices again where needed.
